Noah Nelson
Noah Nelson is the founder of No Proscenium, a publication dedicated to exploring the immersive and experiential arts, its sister site Everything Immersive, and co-founder of the non-profit organization The Immersive Experience Institute.
As a producer he has led multiple immersive industry events including The Next Stage (2023) the Los Angeles Immersive Invitational (2019, 2022, 2024), the Denver Immersive Gathering (2022), and the Immersive Design Summit (2018 & 2019).
As a speaker on immersive creativity has been commissioned to speak around the globe at events and for companies including the Sundance Film Festival, Vancouver International Film Festival, Meow Wolf, Sandbox Immersive Festival (Qingdao), the Lucid Immersive Summit (Singapore), and the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books.
His extensive experience consulting on immersive work includes Camp Christmas (Denver Center for the Performing Arts), and working with Tender Claws to develop initial casting protocols for The Under Presents (Meta Quest).
He is proud member of the faculty of the CalArts School of Theater and holds a bachelor's in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University. His reporting has been heard on NPR's All Things Considered and APM's Marketplace.

Eric Vosmeier
Eric Vosmeier is a producer. He likes to solve problems and spend other people’s money to make collectible moments happen. For money he’s worked with: FX, NBC, Bezark Company, Clif Bars, Amazon. For joy he works with creators like Annie Saunders, David Ruzicka, Tommy Honton, and on projects like The Next Stage.

Kathryn Yu
Kathryn Yu is an award-winning immersive designer & developer based in Los Angeles, bridging the worlds of user experience, augmented & virtual reality, games, and immersive theatre. She recently completed her Master of Fine Arts in Interactive Media at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts. Kathryn’s thesis game, Penrose Station, a sci-fi VR mystery about an abandoned deep sea research station, won the 2022 New Media Writing Prize Student Award.
Kathryn is currently a gameplay designer at Twisted Pixel Games (a part of Oculus Studios) working on an unannounced VR project. Previously, Kathryn worked at the indie game studio Tender Claws on Virtual Virtual Reality 2. She was also a recipient of a USC Annenberg Graduate Fellowship for 2020-2021. Kathryn was also featured in WIRED for her interactive Twitter-based story, “Metaverse Noir.” Her game Heirloom won the “Favourite game by a woman or female team” award at the 2021 Women in Games Global Awards and was shortlisted for the 2020 New Media Writing Prize as well as being nominated for Best Student Game at Games for Change 2021. Kathryn was also the Executive Editor of No Proscenium until 2022.
She has spoken at Games for Change, the Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media, The Knight Foundation, NESTA, and more. She is part of the Oculus Launch Pad program and The Game Awards Future Class as well as a member of the IndieCade Alumni board.

Mikhael Tara Garver
Mikhael Tara Garver has been a pioneer in leading the experiential field. She has worked across brands, arts organizations, social justice organizations, and civic organizations. She has created some of the first original experiential commissions by national arts organizations like the American Repertory Theater, The Kennedy Center, The Goodman Theater, Montclair New Work Initiative, and The Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston.
Garver was the Head of Experiential Entertainment at Category41; the Managing Artistic Director of Woodshed Collective; and the Founder and Artistic Director of lauded Chicago Uma Productions. She was a director on American Repertory Theater’s Production of Sleep No More, an associate producer for Anne Bogart and SITI Company, and is currently an advisor for Starfish Accelerator. She most recently founded experiential studio 13Exp; is the experiential architect/designer behind God Bless the Promise Land, and is directing Covid-safe experiences along the L.A. River, Rio Reveals.
Mikhael is a grantee of Pop Culture Collaborative’s Becoming America Fund and an International Sacatar Fellow. Her speaking and thought leadership around Innovative Experiential Content - where digital and live platforms work in concert - has been a keynote at the Immersive Design Summit, Switchpoint, and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas. Garver began her career making experiential marketing campaigns for Chicago Athletic Clubs - tripling their income and growth strategy over 3 years.
She has built award-winning experiences for AMCTelevision, The National Park Service, Bloomberg, Serino/Coyne, BBDO, Hormel, Tentrr, & Smirnoff. She has also done work for high-level brands such as IDEO, Facebook, and Virgin. Garver was the Creative Director for the band, Great Caesar, and developed an immersive journey through 18 hidden shows over 8 days! Additionally, Garver created the advanced program in Making, Directing, and Leadership for NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has spoken and taught on Arts and Democracy at North Carolina School of the Arts, Yale, Columbia University, Harvard, DePaul, Montclair State, as well as other universities.

Sara Thacher
Sara Thacher is a Creative Director and Senior R&D Imagineer at Walt Disney Imagineering, where she works with engineers, computer scientists, architects, artists, and inventors to fashion new technology into revolutionary guest experiences. Her work at Imagineering includes creative leadership on the upcoming Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser two-day immersive experience and the TEA Award-winning Haunted Mansion: Ghost Post. Previously, she served as Executive Producer and Experience Designer at Nonchalance where she co-created the groundbreaking experience, The Jejune Institute.

Diana Williams
Diana Williams is the CEO & Co-founder of Kinetic Energy Entertainment. She has a wide range of experience in the entertainment industry, developing IP and producing creative content for distribution across storytelling media. Throughout her career she has been at the forefront of working with emerging and established talent to ensure a diversity of voices are included in an ever-evolving industry.
Kinetic Energy Entertainment is a multi-disciplinary company that partners with creators at the intersection of story and technology to develop and produce story-based IP. Kinetic’s project slate includes a TV series in development at HBO set in the world of K-Pop, TV series adaptation of The Gatecrashers comic, political sim videogame Political Arena, podcast series Founder Hustle inspired by venture fund 1863 Ventures’ focus on entrepreneurs of color, Crimson an epic fantasy/thriller take on Alice in Wonderland, YA sci-fi adventure Space Hoppers, recipe-memoir Adventures in Starry Kitchen, and a documentary feature film in production with Apple+.
Prior to Kinetic, Diana was the Creative Development and Franchise Producer for Star Wars at Lucasfilm, where she developed film and tv (including Star Wars Rebels, Rogue One), mobile and console videogames (including 2015’s Battlefront), and publishing (Marvel’s Star Wars comics and novel expansions). While at Lucasfilm she helped launch ILMxLAB, an immersive entertainment and VR/AR/mixed reality lab, with projects including Vader Immortal (writer: David Goyer), Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire, and Alejandro González Iñárritu’s Academy Award© winning VR experience Carne y Arena. Diana has also worked with BET Networks as a production consultant on Let the Church Say Amen (director: Regina King), Gun Hill Road (creator/director: Reggie Rock Bythewood), and Untitled Kenya Barris Project (creator: Kenya Barris).
Diana produced the critically acclaimed feature film Our Song, which earned her a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award in the Producer category. Other credits include documentaries Room 237, the Emmy© award-winning Sylvia Drew Ivie, Student Academy Award©-nominated Another First Step, Industrial Light & Magic: Creating the Impossible, Method to the Madness of Jerry Lewis, and Dear Mom Love Cher.
Currently serving as the Chair of the Interactive Board of Jurors for digital and immersive storytelling for the Peabody Award, Diana is also on the Strategic Planning Committee of The National Academy of Sciences’ Science and Entertainment Exchange; the advisory committee for the Royal Shakespeare Company/Digital development; the advisory board for UK-based Future of Film; and the boards of Diverso (a non-profit organization by students for students, dedicated to empowering the under-represented storytellers of the next generation), The Overlook Film Festival (genre festival), and The Immersive Experience Institute for interactive and immersive events, theater, and creators. Diana began her career in production as an Assistant Director and is a member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).

Ann Morrow Johnson
Ann Morrow Johnson, one of XLIST’s 100 Most Creative Visionaries in Experiential and Blooloop's Power 10 in Immersive, leads the global Immersive Experience and Entertainment Practice for Gensler. Her decades of experiential innovation across theater, cultural, institutional, and entertainment sectors, recently as Global Head of Creative Development for Walt Disney Imagineering, focuses on driving emotionally resonant design innovation around the world.
Ann Morrow creatively and strategically led over 60 major projects in the United States, Europe, and Asia for Disney Parks & Experiences. As head of Creative Development she was responsible for development of any and all new experiences including resorts, live performance shows and venues, RD&E, hotels/hospitality, restaurants, exhibits, rides, attractions, walk through and interactive experiences for Disney globally. Having consulted for future leaning companies and the foremost cultural institutions such as National Geographic, the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Association for Cultural Enterprises, and ILMxLAB, she combines insights from the cutting edge of emerging experiential possibilities with the deep tradition of how people engage. -
Rachel Stoll
Rachel Stoll is the founder of Persephone Digital and a creative collaborator that dives into projects that spark joy.
A former producer in the vibrant LA theatre scene, Rachel co-founded the #LATHTR hashtag—back when hashtags were movements—and has been crafting stories, staging shows, and bringing ideas to life since 2009. During her tenure at Visual Endeavors, she had the opportunity to co-produce multiple immersive experiences, including a grant-funded public art installation in Santa Cruz, CA, blending the worlds of data and design.
Rachel continues to look for new projects and opportunities to make connections and things.
